So much for sunny California, I think the sun has come out twice in the last month. This used to be how it was in the midwest and I don't recall ever being so bummed about the weather being anything other than 65 bright sunny and perfect. Perhaps this is part of what they mean about living in Northern Cali once but move away before one gets too soft.
Well deposits are down now for Morocco in April and Peru in September. With most of North Africa in arms with the furor and speed of internet revolutions, I worry that Chase and I are going to be traveling into a war zone. But thus far things seem quiet on the western front - of Africa in any case. As for Peru - just managed to get a room at the Sanctuary Lodge near Machu Picchu! Excited.
