Stay-cation - SAN FRANCISCO

This has been year of transition. A new job, new friends, and a chance to get closer to those around me. I wouldn't say that it was easy by any stretch of the imagination. However I find myself in a situation where I'm just craving a chance to stay at home, drink some good coffee, and play some games while it rains outside. Maria and I have decided not to spend New Years in another country, but rather just take some time off and explore our home city of San Francisco. After all, It is a world class destination. What's more, I feel like there is so much left to be discovered here.

Thus, I've got to work the next week but our vacation starts on the 28th and we plan on exploring some good sites throughout the city and area.
